What a Blessing! Praise Day in the Park, Showboat 2007

We hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the Praise Day in the Park and performance this Tuesday of Michael W. Smith, Erik Bledsoe and Faith 4.  The Lord brought down his “Healing Rain” but looked over us Tuesday night as the clouds parted, the sun set over the stage, and He gave us such a beautiful evening of Praise and Worship.

We want to thank everyone who participated in and helped make the Praise Day in the Park 2007 possible.  We especially want to thank Phil Agnew and the Showboat Committee as well as Family Life Radio - 99.7 for their support and enabling Praise Day and Michael W. Smith to happen.

We hope you enjoyed and thank the Lord for the Praise and Worship of Birch Run Bible Church, Saginaw Rescue Mission, Teen Challenge, New Wine Full Gospel Church, Brady Center Wesleyan Church, Word of Faith International Ministries, First Assembly Church of God, Heritage Quartet, No Other Name, and Erik Bledsoe.  I would also like to especially thank our Villiage Baptist Church Praise Team.

We hoped these concerts touched you and opened your hearts to what God has in store for your life.  He certainly reminded us at Village Baptist that “If God is on your side, who can be against us!”

Praise Day in The Park 2007 — Praise and Worship Line-Up

We are looking forward to a great Day of Praise and Worship this summer on Saturday July 7 as part of the Showboat Music Festival.  Last year’s Praise Day was such a success, its been moved to Saturday and expanded.  For more information on this FREE concert see our Calendar of events.

Praise Day In The Park 2007 is an annual event sponsored by Family Life Radio and hosted by Village Baptist Church in Chesaning, MI. It is a day designed specifically to glorify, exalt, and honor the Lord Jesus Christ through praise and worship. The day starts at 11:00 Am and ends at 9:30 Pm. On Saturday, July 7.

The worship groups have volunteered their time and talents to this event and admission is FREE. This year’s event will include worship teams and groups from local and regional churches.

Here is the Line-up of outstanding groups from our community and all over the country who will be joining us in Chesaning to Praise Him!  Come join us!

Praise Day in The Park 2007 Welcomes Christian Recording Artists!

We’re excited to be joined by a recording artists Erik Bledsoe from Nashville, TN, No Other Name from Owosso, MI, and The Heritage Quartet from Grand Rapids, MI, coupled with a special speaker from Family Life Radio.

It is day where you can set aside the pressures and problems of every day life and ask the Lord to minister to you in a special way through His people. We have created a safe wholesome alcohol free environment for you and your family to enjoy inspiring music.

Welcome!

We’ve just launched our new web site and blog.  We’re new at this, but are hope that this reaches our community of Burt, Brant, Chesaning, Clio, Corunna, New Lothrop, Oakley, Owosso, Saint Charles, and all surrounding areas.  We are a small, but growing Bible-based church LOCATED IN Chesaning, MI. 

Our mission is “To know Him and To Make Him Known.”  We are committed to learning what God’s purpose is for us, and outreaching to mid-Michigan.  If you live in the area or are ever near Chesaning — come in for a visit.  If you already know the Lord, please pray for us as we are taking new steps to Make Him Known.

If you don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus, consider what he has done for all of us and that the only path to eternal life and true joy on this earth is through Him.  If you are in our area — come visit and there are many who can help you learn what God’s plan is for all of us.  If you are not in our area, seek out a local Bible-Based church and they can help show you what plan He has for your life!
